Isometric interior;
Each step of the process was documented to evaluate my use of design, values, and lighting.

3 Point Perspective Practice.
I wanted to draw something cozy, using a perspective I don't often practice. With the skewed angle, I utilized different hues and floating objects to naturally bring the eye down.

3D Environment Exploration
3D Environment Exploration.
With the intention to recreate this environment in 3D, I pushed the dramatic lighting to highlight the story told through all of the drawn props. This pitch image includes references, a story blurb, and aesthetic exploration.

Recycled Records as Fashion
August 2022 - May 2023
This project began when I started researching different materials I could use in my 3D AP Art Portfolio. At the same time, my art teacher had recently been donated boxes and boxes of records. Instantly, I knew I wanted to combine Fashion and Recyling on a scale I had never attempted before.

Various prototypes were constructed before I arrived at a process that worked and effectively communicated what I envisioned. Over 8 months, I cut hundreds of records and utilized multiple tools like heat guns wood saws to achieve my desired look.

The biggest challenge was the ALL RECORDS dress shown on the right. The dress is made up of two pieces; a skirt assembled with triangular panels, and a corset, molded to the model's measurements. The final garment does not include any fabric or internal structure to give it shape.

The images on the left pushed my understanding of form with various shapes and from various angles. The images on the right were free hand studies of the environments around me.
Used Pencil, Charcoal, and Pental Ink gel pens.
